2019 Marcel Breuer for Knoll Cesca Counter Stool Model 51CM Gray & Black Fabric
This is a Cesca counter stool, model 51CM, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928. This particular example was manufactured by Knoll in 2019. The design features a tubular chromed-steel cantilever base, and has a molded plywood seat and back. The upholstery is currently done in a contrasting gray and black fabric combination.
The stool measures 23.6 inches long, 18.1 inches wide, and 38 inches high with a seat height of 25 inches. The chromed-steel cantilever bases are in terrific condition with no pitting. The upholstery is also in good condition, with very slight fading. Overall, this counter stool is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
