This is a set of ten “The Chair” dining chairs, originally designed by Hans J. Wegner. These particular examples were produced in the 1960s specifically for Knoll International and are authentic Johannes Hansen productions, each signed. The design features Wegner’s iconic sculptural form with elegantly curved backrests and integrated arms, crafted in solid teak with exceptional Danish joinery and refined, softened edges.

The listed price includes all ten chairs to be sold together as a set.

The seats have been professionally reupholstered in high-quality black Italian leather, offering a crisp contrast to the warm teak while maintaining the chair’s timeless, elevated profile.

Each chair measures 21 inches deep, 25 inches wide, and 29.75 inches high. These pieces show wear consistent with age and previous use and remain in very good overall vintage condition. Please see photos.
