1970s Set of Six Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti Italia Lens Dining Arm Chairs
This is a set of six Lens Armchairs, designed by Giovanni Offredi for Saporiti Italia in 1968. These examples date to the 1970s and the listed price includes the set of six as shown.
The chairs have a sculptural, cantilevered tubular steel frame, and they retain their original cream upholstery fabric. The chairs are tagged with Saporiti Italia labels under their seats.
Each chair measures 27 inches long, 23 inches wide, and 32 inches high. They have a seat height of 18 inches. The current
upholstery is original to the chairs and shows signs of use. Cleaning or re-upholstery is recommended. The chromed steel has a slight patina. Overall, this set is in good condition. Please see photos.
