1976 Pair of Mies Van Der Rohe Knoll Barcelona Lounge Chairs in Caramel Leather
This is a pair of Barcelona Lounge Chairs, Model 250LS, initially designed by Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich in 1929. These particular examples were produced by Knoll in 1976. They feature solid, hand-polished stainless-steel frames (vs. the more commonly seen chrome-plated editions) and have fine caramel leather upholstery.
The listed price includes both chairs to be sold together as a pair.
Each chair measures 30 inches long, 29.5 inches wide, and 30.25 inches high. Their seat height is 17 inches. Both the frames and the leather upholstery show age with some scratches and scuffs on the frames, and there is some wear to the leather. Overall, this pair of chairs is in good vintage condition.
