This is an Executive Office Chair, initially designed by Ward Bennett for Brickel Associates in 1970. These particular examples were produced in 1984 in the United States. Their design features an ash frame with an upholstered seat and back in blue fabric atop a metal five-point base on casters.
These chairs came from the IBM Headquarters in Armonk, which was designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM) Architects, under project lead Gordon Bunshaft and Davis Allen likely leading the interiors.
