This is a Series 7 Desk Chair, Model 3217, originally designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1970. These examples date to 2011. Their design features a 5-star base comprised of steel with a chrome-plated finish, along with with seats made of pressure-molded sliced veneer shells of ash.
