This is a Marble and Stainless Steel Side Table, Model TA-72, designed and produced in 1966 by Davis Allen and Gordon Bunshaft as part of SOM Design. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP was and still is an important architectural firm globally. SOM produced thousands of their own furniture designs from the 1950s-1980s, and this is a classic example.

The table features a highly polished stainless-steel base, and has a round, high-quality white marble top. The table retains a foil tag that indicates it was utilized at the ABC corporate HQ, a notable piece of provenance fitting into the history of SOM's historic New York projects during the 1960s. A digital copy of the original drawing from 1966 will accompany the side table in the sale.

The table measures 16 inches in diameter and 16.125 inches high. The polished stainless-steel base and marble top are in good condition with light wear apparent, including a few light scuffs and scratches. Overall, the table is in good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
