1930s French Art Deco Round Vanity Table Mirror in Mahogany 36"
This is a round Art Deco Table-Top Mirror, produced in France sometime during the 1930s. The silhouette echoes classic French Deco standards, and this example was hand-made employing fine mahogany veneer. The piece has a stepped geometric pedestal base, streamlined and Empire in form.
This mirror measures 36.5 inches in diameter, and is approximately 2.5 inches deep when installed upright. The wood shows fading, scuffs and dents, and there are myriad fine scratches throughout the frame. The veneer is intact and strong, lest for a small chip in the front as photographed. Overall, this mirror is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
