

1950s Russell Woodard Sculptura Rocking Chair with White Wrought Iron Frame
This is a Sculptura Rocking Armchair, designed in 1956 by Russell Woodard for his family company, Woodard Furniture. The piece is formed with a wrought iron frame, and has a mesh seat featuring a sculptured, ergonomic design. Russell Woodard is a third-generation member of the Woodard family, and the furniture company is still producing quality products today under the Woodard family name.
This chair measures 27 inches deep, 27 inches wide, and 27 inches high. It has a seat height of 15.5 inches. The chair’s finish is a bit chippy, with several coats of paint having been touched up over the years.
