1960s Hans Olsen Viska Mobler Kinna Antelope Safari Lounge Chair Teak and Suede
This is a Safari Lounge Chair, also known as a Kinna or Antelope chair, designed by Hans Olsen for Viska Mobler in 1960. This example dates to the 1960s and was produced in Sweden. The piece has a frame of teak, and it has a sling seat that is composed of rich dark tan suede. It is a true safari chair, as the seat and backrest are suspended within the frame to create a flexible sitting experience.
This chair measures 27.5 inches deep, 29.25 inches wide, and 33 inches high. It has a seat height of 15.5 inches. There is some staining on the suede upholstery, and the wood has a deep patina. There are also some chips on the veneer of the frame. Overall, this chair is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
