1960s Pair of Eero Saarinen for Knoll Armless Dining Chairs in Fabric, Wood
This is a pair of Saarinen Armless Executive Chairs, Model 72CW, initially designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International in 1950. These examples were produced in the United States and date to the 1960s. The listed price includes the pair of two chairs as shown These pieces feature upholstered seats in purple fabric and they have solid steam-bent wooden legs.
Each chair measures 20.5 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high, with a seat height of 18.75 inches. The fabric has tears and discoloration on both chairs, and there are some small chips on the wooden legs. Overall, these chairs are in vintage condition and show wear consistent with age and use.
