1960s Pair of Lane Single Shelf Nightstands / Bedside Tables in Walnut, Wood
This is a pair of Expression Side or End Tables, Model 1082-5, initially designed by Lane Furniture in 1966. Their design was devised under the direction of Warren C. Church. These tables were produced in the United States, and the listed price includes the pair of two tables as shown. The pieces feature sculptural walnut bases, and they have rectangular walnut veneer tops. They have a useful bottom shelf that is inset into the base. There are inlaid strips of lighter-hued walnut on the tops, adding visual interest.
Each table measures 22 inches deep, 30 inches wide, and 20 inches high. There are stains on the tops, and there are some areas that are darker than others. The bases and shelves show some scrapes and scuffs. Overall, this pair of tables is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
