1970s Bendt Winge for Kleppes MøbelfabrikkGate Leg Dining Table in Rosewood from Norway
This is a Drop-Leaf Gate Leg Dining Table, Model NR4, initially designed by Bendt Winge for Kleppes Møbelfabrikk in Norway in 1956. This example dates to the 1970s. The piece is crafted of solid and veneered rosewood. The table is versatile, allowing the leaves to collapse when not in use. It can transform into a thin silhouette for easy storage. We have had the piece freshly refinished.
When the leaves are fully extended, the table measures 35 inches deep, 59 inches wide, and 28.75 inches high. When collapsed, the piece measures 9 inches wide. The tabletop has some light scratches, and the legs and base show some light scuffs. Overall, this table is in very good vintage condition. Please see photos.
