1970s Pair of Mies van der Rohe for Knoll MR10 Leather Dining Chairs, Black
This is a pair of Mies van der Rohe’s classic MR10 dining chairs. The MR Collection, first released in 1927, was the debut of van der Rohe’s earliest bent-steel designs. The listed price includes the pair of two chairs as shown. Their design includes a tubular chromed-steel frame that is cantilever in form, and these examples have thick black leather seats and backs. The pair dates to the 1970s and was produced by Knoll in Italy.
Each chair measures 27.25 inches deep, 27.25 inches wide, and 31 inches tall. Their seat height is 17.25 inches. This pair retains its original leather that shows wear and is a bit tough. There is patina on the chromed steel surface. Overall, the chairs are in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
