2010s Eames Modernica Fiberglass Dining Side Shell Chairs in Mustard 6x Avail
This is a DSX Side Chair, initially designed by Ray and Charles Eames in the 1950s. These particular examples were produced by Modernica in Los Angeles, California and date to the 2010s. The listed price includes one chair, and we have six chairs available for purchase in this colorway. The chairs are comprised with dark mustard yellow fiberglass shell seats atop chromed steel H-bases. DSX is an acronym for Dining Height Side Chair on X-Base. The acronym stayed the same after they switched production to H-bases from X-bases.
Each chair measures 22 inches deep, 18.5 inches wide, and 31.25 inches high with a seat height of 18 inches. The chairs show signs of previous use, including several white blemishes and scratches on the fiberglass shells. Overall, these chairs are in good condition. Please see photos.
