2010s Mario Bellini for Cassina CAB 412 Dining Chair in Saddle Leather
This is a Cab 412 Dining Side Chair, initially designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina in 1977. This example was produced in Italy in the 2010s. It is made from natural saddle leather which is actually self supporting without an inner frame. There is polyurethane foam that is in-between the layers of leather that gives the seat and back a bit of cushion.
This chair measures 19.3 inches deep, 20.5 inches wide, and 32.3 inches high. It has seat height of 17.7 inches. This example is in terrific shape, with perhaps a few scratches and scuffs on the leather surface. The corners are beginning to show signs of wear. Overall, this chair is in very good condition.
