2015 Herman Miller Eames Molded DAR Dining Arm Chair in Yellow Fabric, Plastic
This is a DAR Dining Armchair, initially designed Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller in 1958. This example was produced in the United States in 2015. The design incorporates a white plastic shell seat with yellow fabric upholstery. The shell sits atop a steel Eiffel base. DAR is an acronym for dining height arm chair on a rod base.
The chair measures 24 inches deep, 24.875 inches wide, and 32.5 inches high, with a seat height of 17.875 inches. This piece does show wear from previous use, including blemishes on the fabric and on the molded shell. Overall, the chair is in good condition. Please see photos.
