2019 Eero Saarinen for Knoll Tulip Dining Table in Black Laminate 35", Aluminum
This is a Pedestal Tulip Dining Table, Model 172TR, initially designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1956. This particular example was produced in the United States in 2019. The table features a base that is formed of molded cast-aluminum which is coated in a black satin finish, and has a black laminate top. The top has a beveled edge, giving the piece its iconic side profile.
The table measures 35.75 inches in diameter and is 28.5 inches high. There are some surface blemishes, as well as a minor chip on the underside of the table. Overall, the table is in good condition. Please see photos.
