2020s Eero Saarinen for Knoll Womb Lounge Chair in Pink Leather and Fabric, USA
This is a Womb Lounge Chair, model 70L, initially designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll Associates in 1948. This particular example was produced in the United States in the 2020s. The piece features a seat that is formed of foam-covered, molded fiberglass which is upholstered in pink pebbled leather. The cushions are covered in a coordinating light pink tweedy material. The legs are made of tubular steel that has been powder-coated in black.
The chair measures 34 inches deep, 40 inches wide, and 35.5 inches high. It has a seat height of 16 inches, and an arm height of 20.5 inches. There is a small cut in the leather on one side, and it has a small white mark. The legs show some scuffs and scratches. Overall, the chair is in good condition. Please see photos.
